This weekend we celebrate the Victoria Day long weekend! This tradition honours the first Queen of Canada, who ruled Great Britain when Canada became a country in 1867, as well as celebrating her birthday!
Now, we know that our long weekend may look different this year during the ongoing pandemic - but it is usually spent at the cottage, watching fireworks light up the sky, backyard BBQs and enjoying the unofficial start of summer!
