  • What is a Personal Support Worker?
    A Personal Support Worker or PSW is an individual who is certified (by a Community College) to perform personal care duties, transfers, lifts, etc. Many of our caregivers are PSWs.
  • What services do you provide?

  • Do you have 24-hour care?
    Yes, 24-hour care can be arranged even on short-term notice or an emergency basis.
  • Do you do light house cleaning?
    Yes, we can provide a homemaker to do light housekeeping on a regular basis. To keep the cost low, we use your home supplies and we do have a minuinm of 2-hour visits weekly or bi-weekly.
  • Can you take my loved one's to their doctor appointments?
    Yes, we can accompany them to medical appointments, shopping, errands or excursions by bus or taxi.
  • Is there a 'minimum' time for a shift?
    Yes, however we invite you to speak with us first as every individual has a special circumstance where flexible scheduling can be accommodated.
  • What measures are your team members taking to protect against COVID-19?
    The health and safety of our team and our clients are always our top priority. During this global pandemic situation, we are taking additional steps to help keep everyone safe. All team members have completed training on "Understanding Coronavirus" and "Battling COVID-19 in 2021" courses. Each team member wears all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ). Additional measures include: Daily health screenings for all team members before entering our clients' homes or retirement homes.   • Is your staff bonded and insured?
    Yes, all of our caregivers and PSWs are CPR and First Aid trained as well as provide us with a Vulnerable Sector Police/Criminal Record Check. Your safety is paramount to us. Our mature personnel are professional, tactful, educated and skilled in communications. These are the qualities we seek in those we trust to offer services to seniors and others. Our mandate is to treat clients with dignity and respect and to provide families respite without worry.
  • How much do your services cost?
    As everyone has different needs, we charge on a case by case basis. Please contact us for an assessment.
  • How can I pay?
    Payments can be made by e-transfer to info@idealcaregivers4u.com or by cheque (made payable to Ideal Caregivers 4u). We also accept all major credit cards.
