Sponsor a senior during COVID-19 and beyond. Many seniors are especially vulnerable during the regular flu season, let alone the devastation from COVID-19.
Being isolated and staying at home has created many challenges for the elderly to obtain food, medication, and other essentials, and receive medical care and personal support to ensure their well-being.
Senior programs across Ottawa have been suspended since March 2020, leaving many helpless seniors with very little community support for personal health care services and battling loneliness and lacking human contact during this crisis.
Ideal Caregivers 4u is looking for your support to help us with the additional costs of providing personal health care services, in-home meal preparation services, daily live care calls for daily medication reminders, and companionship. Ideal Caregivers 4u has been providing support to Ottawa’s most vulnerable seniors since 1998.
Your support will go toward providing a Senior with free home health care services and a team member to purchase the supplies they need to keep them protected. Further, your contribution will also support the costs of additional programs and equipment to help us keep up with the increased demands placed upon our health care industry.
