August 6th is known across North America as #NationalRootBeerFloatDay! To celebrate this tasty drink, we thought we would share a few fun facts about its origins and ingredients...spoiler alert, there is no alcohol in root beer! In fact, an independent lab test on root beer’s alcohol content presented in 1898, found that Hires Root Beer had the same alcohol content as half a loaf of bread!
