Today is International #lefthandersday! It is a day we celebrate all those individuals who have mastered using their left hand in a right-handed world.
Throughout history, and even till this day in some countries, those who used their left hands for writing are seen as "impure", "sinister", or "practice witchcraft" because the use of left hands was a unique occurrence. Often parents of left-handed children would force them to use the right hand as a more dominant hand. Thankfully, left-handers no longer live in fear of persecution, but they still have their challenges in a right-hand world.
