Back Care

Taking care of your back, especially if you are a caregiver for others, is vital to your mobility, health, and daily functioning.


As we move about our day, we often rush to a task, lift objects that are heavier than expected, and/or sit for longer periods of time at our desk, forgetting to take breaks, stretch our muscles, and bend with our knees.


Here are some reminders on how to care for your back while seated, standing for long periods of time, tending to others (lifting or transferring), and your general health.
